The Abundana Institute is starting a new chapter. This includes a new logo and a new website.

In 2018, the website abundana.com was launched to present the activities of Beat Edelmann, who was offering his services as a coach and trainer
- in French, English and German
- in Geneva and Bern.
Let's give Beat Edelmann the opportunity to present the beginnings of his institute.
Discovery of the ZRM (2016)
Between 2016 and 2018, I successfully completed several certifying programs in coaching. At the same time, I started working as a coach on my own. At the ISMZ Institute at the University of Zurich, I acquired the knowledge of the ZRM method for improving one's self-management, which fascinated me from the start. ZRM emphasizes the personal attitude that underlies all action. It goes beyond the definition of rational goals by integrating emotional and unconscious dimensions (heart and gut-feeling) in order to build up a genuine dynamic for action.
Beginnings of Abundana (2018)
In 2018, I chose the name Abundana for my project aimed at promoting ZRM through coaching and training. Abundana refers to the multitude of resources available to each individual that help them achieve their authentic goals, approved by their unconscious mind. Subsequently, the website abundana.com was launched.
Everyone can therefore tap into the resources of their unconscious mind to successfully overcome everyday challenges, whether in their professional or private life. As a result, you will be able to make better decisions and achieve goals that you have not been able to achieve until now.
Events in Geneva and online (2019 – 2021)
With the aim of promoting ZRM self-management in French-speaking Switzerland, particularly in the Geneva region, I began offering lectures in September 2019. Most of the fifteen lectures were held in French, but six of them were also given in English. In 2021, these lectures were moved online due to the pandemic. Starting in 2022, I have been offering the two-day workshop on ZRM self-management based in French on a regular basis in Geneva.
Discovery of the personality (2020)
ZRM already considers the individual as a whole (thoughts, emotions, and body). The PSI personality theory developed by Professor Julius Kuhl fits perfectly with this vision. It enables a completely new and impressive form of self-knowledge. In 2020, I studied this theory at the “PSI Institut Schweiz” in Zurich. As a “certified PSI competency consultant”, I am authorized to offer my clients the PSI personality test, which is available in German, French, and English
In 2020 and 2021, I gave seven webinars in French during which I presented the different levels and systems of personality.
With the additional certification of “PRB® Coach IPSIS®,” I have pleasant and enjoyable tools that allow me to offer student coaching to teenagers and adults.
Neurodiversity (2023)
In 2023, at the age of 61, I discovered that I was autistic with ADHD and high IQ (I avoid the word “giftedness”), which explains many of the difficulties I faced from childhood onwards. By participating in support groups, I was able to talk to peers and discovered the vastness of the autism spectrum. Since my diagnosis, autism has become one of my intense interests, and I continue to deepen my knowledge. This new knowledge, along with my various certifications and coaching experience since 2016, form the basis of my practice of coaching neurodivergent people.
Sharing knowledge on my blog (2023 – 2024)
I had always had a strong desire to share my knowledge. That's what I did from 2018 until August 2025, by regularly giving a week-long training course in communication and care work to civil servants in Switzerland (men performing civil service instead of military service).
In fall 2023, I wrote my first blog post explaining the specifics of the PSI personality test. I then continued to publish articles in French on my favorite topics:
- Self-management
- Personality
- Neurodiversity
In about fifteen articles in French, I have presented various topics related to these fascinating themes. After a break since the beginning of this year, I will resume writing this fall, and in addition, I will translate most of my old articles into English.
The Abundana Institute is born anew (2025)
In August 2025, the non-profit organization “Abundana Institute for Self-Management” was founded. It is committed to helping people who wish to improve their self-confidence and belief in their own abilities in order to strengthen their mental health.
To achieve this, it promotes wise self-management and a good understanding of one's own personality, as proposed by ZRM and PSI personality theory. Its activities are primarily aimed at supporting neurodivergent individuals. The institute also supports their employers in order to create mutual understanding and promote optimal collaboration.
Within this organization, I am continuing my current commitment. But the new structure will also enable other people to take over in a few years' time.
New logo
At the launch of my website in 2018, my institute got its first logo. At the time, the main goal was to promote ZRM self-management. My services were aimed at individuals, but also at businesses. The logo, with white text on a blue background, represented this vision.
Although ZRM is still at the heart of my work, other activities have been added:
- Personality exploration
- Student coaching
- Coaching for neurodivergent people
- Sharing my knowledge through blog articles
Thus, Abundana's vision evolved and the time had come to adapt the logo. It retains its old shape, but is no longer enclosed by a frame.
The colors of the font represent, on the one hand, the spectrum of neurodiversity and, on the other hand, the four colors of the macro-systems in PSI theory.
New website
The abundana.com website, created in 2018, has been modified from time to time. But increasingly, it was becoming less and less relevant to my actual activity. The visual communication expert, Cuno Vollenweider, developed our new website based on the Grav CMS. Our new website, in both French and English, is primarily aimed at people in the Geneva region.
The launch of the new website comes shortly after the creation of the association behind the institute. The site offers a perfect overview of the institute's vision and current activities – take some time to explore it!
Looking into the future
The Abundana Institute will continue to offer its current services:
- Coaching for people with autism and/or ADHD
- Personality exploration for individuals
- Self-management coaching
- Student coaching
- Publication of articles on self-management, personality, and neurodiversity on our blog
In addition to our existing services, we now also offer support to companies seeking to better support their neurodivergent employees. This includes consulting and training services.
Knowledge about ZRM and PSI theory has only been available in German until now. With our blog, we want to make this knowledge accessible to French- and English-speaking people. In the coming years, we hope to train professionals working in the social, psychological, and educational fields so that more and more people can benefit from these wonderful methods.
